Aileen presenting her speech at Royal Holloway, University of London. Saturday, 14th March saw 18 students from across Great Britain and Ireland debate the significance of the Magna Carta in their lives. The array of ideas was vast, well researched, and indeed informative. There is no doubt that all the finalists have embraced history and politics, and that they will be voices of the future which will no doubt instigate progress and change in the area of civil liberties.
